Intro to mountaineering For GenderQueer, Trans, and Non-Binary Folx on Kweq’ Smanit (Mt. Baker)

Kweq’ Smanit / Mt. Baker is one of the most iconic volcanoes in North America. The course will be completely in Mt. Baker Snoqualmie National Forest on the traditional unceded land of the Nooksack, Lummi, and Coast Salish peoples.

This trip is for Genderqueer, trans, and non-binary folx. Note: your guide team will definitely be queer but may not be Genderqueer, trans, or non-binary. But we will be 100% committed to creating an awesome welcoming space for everyone. We’re doing our best to have a guide team that matches the identities of the participants, but might not always be able to make it happen.

This scholarship includes the expedition fee for a 6 day intro to mountaineering course for GenderQueer, Trans, and Non-Binary Folx on Kweq’ Smanit (Mt. Baker), top-notch mountaineering footwear from LOWA Boots, mountaineering attire from Fjällräven, and more. Each scholarship’s total value is >$4,000.
